CMCC is a research centre on climate change, organized in the form of a network distributed throughout Italy with locations in Lecce, Bologna, Caserta, Milano, Sassari, Venezia, and Viterbo. CMCC mission is to investigate and model the climate system and its interactions with society to provide reliable, rigorous, and timely scientific results as well as foresights and quantitative analysis of our future planet and society which will, in turn, stimulate sustainable growth, protect the environment and develop science-driven adaptation and mitigation policies in a changing climate.

European Citizen Science Association (ECSA) is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to connect citizens and science; to promote sustainable development through citizen science; and to ensure that citizen science contributes to policy processes. ECSA’s vision is that all citizens in Europe are valued and empowered as actors in advancing knowledge and innovation, and thus supporting sustainable development.

Barcelona Supercomputing Center-Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) is the national supercomputing centre in Spain. The team from BSC in AGORA is in the Earth Systems Services group (ESS) of the Earth Sciences Department. The ESS group works for a more resilient and sustainable society by co-producing climate and air quality services with relevant societal actors, such as policy-makers and communities.

Cima is a non-profit research organization that aims to promote the study, scientific research, technological development and advanced training in engineering and environmental sciences for the protection of public health, civil protection and ecosystems. The scientific research conducted by the Foundation focuses on disaster risk mitigation. Since its inception, CIMA Research Foundation has been dedicated to hydrometeorological risk mitigation, developing mathematical models to improve the forecasting and prevention of flood phenomena, and wildfire forecasting and prevention.

ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability is a global network of more than 2500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development and is active in 125+ countries. ICLEI Europe supports local governments in implementing the European Green Deal, the overarching EU strategy for climate neutrality, to build more resilient and equitable communities.

APRE is a non-profit association created in 1989 as a joint initiative of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and a number of public and private bodies, to meet the growing demand for information on European research programmes. APRE's mission is to support and promote Italian participation in the European Union Research and Innovation (R&I) programmes, by providing scientific and the industrial communities with information, education and assistance services. APRE is at the heart of a network of more 150 members from the academia to private sector.

International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) is an international research organisation supported by academies of science and other institutions from various countries. IIASA is providing qualitative and quantitative interdisciplinary and systems analysis research for problems which are too complex or large to be addressed within one discipline or one country. Within IIASA the Cooperation and Transformative Governance (CAT) group is addressing topics related to positive shifts in coupled social-ecological systems towards sustainability.

Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) is an international non-profit research organisation whose mission is to support decision-making and induce change towards sustainable development by providing integrative knowledge that bridges science and policy. SEI works to reduce climate risk, increase knowledge sharing and collaboration, and steer practices towards sustainability by changing agendas, enhancing capacities, and improving decisions. SEI consists of a Foundation (Stiftelse) and several separate legal entities, including SEI Oxford and SEI Tallinn.

Ibercivis is a non-profit organization based in Spain that focuses on citizen science and promoting scientific culture. We develop and support scientific research projects with the participation of citizens and encourage the use of open data and knowledge.
