The gamified mobile app aims to support the education of citizens on climate change adaptation and counter disinformation campaigns through an entertaining and engaging approach. By incorporating interactive elements, such as a scoreboard or ranking, the app transforms learning into an interactive and fun experience, encouraging engagement and active participation from stakeholders. This increases the engagement of citizens and other relevant groups in educating themselves and encourage their peers to follow suit. With the resources of the Adaptation AGORA project climate change disinformation is tackled and stakeholders are able to adopt sustainable behavioural patterns for climate adaptation.
The app is available for download from the Digital Agora and it was developed for Android and iOS through three codesign-build-and-test iterations using agile methodologies.
