Celebrating the end of an inspiring journey: Adaptation AGORA concludes! |
Dear Adaptation AGORA Community,
As the calendar turns to the final chapter of the Adaptation AGORA project, we are filled with a sense of immense pride and gratitude. While our project officially concludes, we don't see this as a farewell, but rather as a celebration of everything we have achieved together!
From the Adaptation AGORA launch, your insightful participation and commitment have been the true engine of Adaptation AGORA. Every workshop, every feedback, and every shared idea has enriched our understanding of citizen-led climate resilience, making this project a collaborative opportunity for growth. We are confident that the seeds of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge that we have collectively planted over the past three years will surely blossom into new projects, innovative strategies and policies, or simply into a more resilient community of citizens able to counteract the impacts of climate change. Thank you for being the heart of Adaptation AGORA.
A special thank you…! |
A special thank you goes to EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change for its invaluable contribution and guidance, and to the Adaptation AGORA followers for the participation to activities and for having showed interest in disseminating adaptation knowledge at the local and regional scale. Finally, Adaptation AGORA thanks all the Governmental bodies that decided to implement actual adaptation strategies using the Adaptation AGORA recommendations and outcomes, and to all the co-creation workshop participants.

Adaptation AGORA impactful results |
Among the project’s most significant contributions is its suite of four innovative digital tools, designed to strengthen climate resilience at local, regional, and European levels: |
he Agora Community Hub, an interactive platform connecting experiences, challenges, and solutions from diverse geographies and stakeholders. The Hub is a live space for peer-to-peer learning where communities can collaborate on climate adaptation. To share your work on the Adaptation Action Explorer, publicize events or to engage in the discussions please register on the Agora Community Hub! If you have any questions, please contact: sukaina.bharwani@sei.org

How to upload content to the Agora Community Hub |
| |
Two online Academies, designed to boost climate data literacy and counter climate-related disinformation. These educational resources enhance awareness, strengthen local capacity, and empower users to engage meaningfully with climate knowledge. |
| |
The mobile App, which provides a playful and immersive learning experience on climate disinformation, helping users of all ages develop critical thinking skills and recognise misleading narratives. The app can be downloaded for both Android and iOS and it is designed for a wide audience. |
| |
VOICES OF CLIMATE ADAPTATION: |
Voices of Climate Adaptation, a multimedia storytelling platform collecting and narrating the project’s lessons learned through reportage-style formats. It amplifies the voices of local protagonists and offers an engaging narrative accessible to a broad audience. |
| |
Together, these tools form a comprehensive digital ecosystem that will continue to support climate adaptation efforts beyond the project’s lifetime. |
Adaptation AGORA published the Policy White Paper, a strategic document providing a roadmap to upscale citizen engagement for climate resilience across Europe. The document outlines sixteen actionable recommendations, structured around 4 key pillars: - Institutionalising engagement;
- Strengthening local capacity;
- Empowering citizens and stakeholder;
- Sharing and applying knowledge and best practices.
The Adaptation AGORA Policy White Paper is an essential resource for decision-makers, offering a clear pathway to align European efforts with the objectives of the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. |
